So what’s the latest davorcoin news? When I first heard about Davor Coin my first thought was, “when will people learn?”. I see people flooding into this new coin called DavorCoin (website Davor.io) which has a new lending platform where you can earn money but I’m wondering why people haven’t already learned from the mistakes that have already happened. In case you’re confused I’m talking about the recent collapse of cryptocurrency lending platforms BitConnect and USI Tech. BitConnect was the biggest lending program in the cryptocurrency space and USI Tech wasn’t far behind. I use the term “lending program” lightly since the more appropriate term is ponzi scheme.
Both these companies were hit with cease and desists from the state of Texas and after that things just got worse and worse. USI Tech was first to announce that they were closing US operations. And then a week later BitConnect shuts down their “lending program” completely. When this happened the price of the BCC (BitConnect Coin) dropped from over $400 to less than $19 at one point. They were also in the process of launching BitConnect X in ICO which is their new exchange. They claim that this ICO is still going ahead but I’d be amazed if anyone has any confidence at all in their operation since they have clearly been exposed as a ponzi scheme. USI Tech did not actually have a tradable cryptocurrency coin but were in the process of launching Tech Coin via ICO. This is still going ahead to non-US/Canada investors but clearly will not do anywhere near as well as it probably could have done. Whilst all this is going on, I see more and more people flooding towards Davor Coin.

In fact an advert on Google Adwords even states that “Davor Coin is rising faster than BitConnect” which isn’t exactly hard given what’s happened.

WHAT IS DAVOR COIN ALL ABOUT?

So in this review I wanted to first express my concern about DavorCoin and the fact that it looks incredible similar to other schemes that have recently collapsed. In my honest opinion I don’t have confidence that DavorCoin will be any different in the long run, but that should be obvious given this review so far. DavorCoin states on their website that by investing in their coin you can be part of one of the most ambitious cryptocurrency projects. On the face of things their website looks pretty legitimate. They are tradable on an exchange called CoinExchange and at the time of writing this post the price per DAV is $91.19 according to the popular website CoinMarketCap.com – Their own website has a slightly different figure and claims a 24/hour volume of $3.6 million. This is very different to what the Coin Market Cap website states which is a mere $189,000. I can’t honestly say which figure is correct but it’s worrying that both of these are such different figures.

Davor Coin aims to become the best alternative to BitCoin and Ethereum. In case you are brand new to cryptocurrency the two biggest cryptocurrencies are BitCoin and Ethereum as they have the largest market caps. It’s interesting that DavorCoin wants to be a competitor to Ethereum because I read through their White Paper on their website and it has no similarities to Ethereum and it has no mention of smart contracts which is basically Ethereums main advantage over Bitcoin and is why many ICO’s are launched off Ethereum. I won’t get into the details of what this means because if you are new to the cryptocurrency space it will probably confuse you but just know this, DavorCoin is in no way whatsoever a potential competitor to Ethereum. DAVOR COIN WHITE PAPER

I just read through the White Paper for Davor Coin and I was very surprised. It’s literally 1 page long. I’ll admit that it’s quite a long page however it’s still 1 page. The White Paper is supposed to explain in detail what the cryptocurrency offers. It’s essentially a prospectus for potential investors and a key selling point too. It’s supposed to give potential investors all the details about the new coin covering every single aspect of how it works and what their core purpose is. Most White Papers are 30-40 pages long at a minimum, and some are even 100+ pages yet the DavorCoin White Paper is just 1 page.

DAVOR COIN IS JUST LIKE BITCONNECT

I started off my review mentioning BitConnect which recently closed it’s lending program down and is basically a huge ponzi scheme. Well after looking at the DavorCoin website I am convinced that this coin is nothing more than a complete clone of BitConnect. Here is what I am talking about:

After taking a closer look at DavorCoin I am amazed at how similar it is to BitConnect which is an exposed ponzi scheme that recently closed it’s lending program down. Chances are the BitConnect owners have probably run off with $1 billion or more of the Bitcoin that people invested into their lending program. I am confident that the exact same thing will likely happen with DavorCoin if it continues to grow. There is simply no way that a program can sustain itself paying 1% lending interest a day on investments. DavorCoin is still in its infancy but I see more and more people flooding into this platform. I would urge anyone joining to be extremely careful and be prepared to lose all the money you invest.

Introduction

KAPPI is a network of independent and decentralized hybrid blockchains. These include Bitcoin and Segregated-Witness, which are both vertical scaling models which are still bound by a lack of capacity within any single machine.This approach is necessary for pre-existing blockchains that didn’t consider their scalability due to the requirement to maintain a complete auditability. There is also the Lighting Network, which could be used instead of alternative options to bring scalability to Bitcoin transaction volume.This would be accomplished in the Lightning Network by reducing the number of transactions that are on the ledger. This approach is suitable for privacypreserving payment rails and for micropayments but might not suit more generalized scaling requirements. Multiple blockchains running in parallel could use this solution advantageously, allowing for interoperation and still keeping all security properties of the blockchain.Proof-of-work approaches make this all but impossible. For merged mining, work is allowed to be done for the securing of a parent chain to be used again on a child chain but does not take away the need for each individual transaction to be validated by each node in order. Merged mined blockchains are also open to attack from a hashtag power majority on the parent chain, where there is no active merging of the child chain. This is where KAPPI comes in. KAPPI is a unique blockchain which has network architecture that addresses each of the above problems.

KAPPI is able to decipher the blockchain design through offering an easy API that functions between the consensus process and the application process. KAPPI consists of parallel blockchain networks which are all supported independently by classic BFT consensus algorithms such as KAPPI. The first blockchain in the network is KAPPI DWARF, which is connected to several zones or other blockchains through a unique inter-blockchain communication protocol. KAPPI DWARF can track many types of tokens and stores all tokens in each connected zone.Tokens can be transferred from one zone to another quickly and safely without the need for physical fluid exchange between zones. This is possible due to the fact that all coin transfers are made between Zones will all go through KAPPI DWARF, which acts as a solution to many of the problems faced by the blockchain in contemporary times.

Some problems are solved using this architecture, including issues of scalability, interoperability, and flawless enhancements. Regardless of where the zone originates, including if it was created on Bitcoin, CryptoNote, Go-Ethereum or Cash, among others, it can be plugged into KAPPI DWARF. This allows unlimited scalability to the future and shows that this zone is perfect for operating distributed exchanges. KAPPI is not just a distributed ledger, but instead creates a protocol for each distributed exchange network. Transparency, a healthy economy, accountability theory and consensus are all included. KAPPI validators operate the same as miners in Bitcoin, except that it uses cryptographic signatures to vote.

KAPPI Consensus Protocol

The KAPPI consensus protocol and the interface which was used to build the application is backed by nodes which retain voting power which is no-negative. This is different than the classic Byzantine Fault Tolerant (BFT) algorithm that has each node carrying the same weight. In the KAPPI consensus, validators are able to participate in the consensus protocol through broadcasting cryptographic
based signatures, which are referred to as votes, that agree on the next block. The voting power of each validator is determined at genesis and can be altered deterministically within the blockchain, which would be dependent on what the application is. An example of this is that the staking tokens can be bonded as collateral to determine the voting power. Unless all the validators have an equal
weight, fractions would not be used to refer to the validator but only for the total voting power.An analogy can be made with Bitcoin, which is known as a cryptocurrency blockchain that operates by having each node carrying a fully audited Unspent Transaction Output (UTXO) database. If someone wished to create that type of system on an ABCI foundation the KAPPI DWARF would have the responsibility to share transactions and blocks between each node. This would establish an
immutable or canonical order to the transactions in the blockchain.

The ABCI application would maintain the responsibility for:

  1. The UTXO database.
  2. Validating all cryptographic signatures within a transaction.
  3. Stopping transactions from spending funds which do not exist.
  4. Allowing client query through the UTXO database.

Scalability and Decentralization

KAPPI is comprised of a network of many blockchains that being powered by KAPPI. KAPPI allows many blockchains to be running concurrently with each other whilst retaining interoperability.At its DWARF, KAPPI DWARF manages multiple independent blockchain ‘zones’, that are also referred to by some as shards. With a constant stream of block commits coming from zones on the DWARF, it can keep up with each zone’s information and its current state.In turn, the zones keep up with the DWARF, but not each other except through the DWARF. Information packets are sent from one zon to another through the DWARF through Merkle-proof posting showing that the information was both sent and received accurately.
